Tips for trips..

This is August, the month which most peoples are going on trips !!! I'm also planning on going a trip and will keep you updated about it within next week :). So today I'm going to give you some tips on things you have to keep in mind before going on a trip.

  • Do some research about the places you are going to visit. What is the story behind that place, what's the importance of that place etc. You don't have to know each and everything about that place..but at least having an idea about the place is worthy. (Maybe you won't have to pay a guide) Usually I spend days, reading and surfing net before a trip.
  • Make sure to check the weather forecast. You must have an idea about the climate of the place you are going to visit, but don't forget to check the weather forecast. So you won't end up soaked in rain or get sun burns. The climate will decide what kind of clothes you are going to wear.
  • Find a good place to dine before you go there. It will save time. There are numerous websites offering information about restaurants and also most of them have reviews.
  • Keep a list of things you should take with you. So that you won't forget to take your phone charger, camera etc with you. I usually double check everything before going on a trip. So it's easy to use a list.
  • Make sure to have some medicine with you. You may want some painkillers or other medicines. So in case of an emergency it's better to have them.

How to survive A/Ls in 3 months...

Today is the first of May and there are exactly three months until GCE A/L exams begin. I intend to help people who has realized this and started panicking and feeling lost, but not only A/L students but also any student with any upcoming exam can use these tips to ace your exam. I will first explain why most of us usually wait until the day before deadline to do stuff. It's explained by Parkinson's law which states that " Work expands so as to fill the time available for its completion". What it means is, if we are given a week to finish a task we will finish it within the week and if we are given an year to finish the same task we will spend the whole year doing it. Well that's how usually us, lazy humans work. Now that you know what happened there is no time to regret about how we procrastinated on unnecessary things etc. Now it's time to damage control. I will not gurantee you will get 3As by following these. (It's possible depending on
