Nan Madol-the lost continent...

First of all I'm sorry for not posting about Sigiriya today.I will definitely post it within this week.Today I'm going to tell you about a lost continent. If you read Erich Von Danikens books or watched Ancient Aliens then you may be familiar with this place.Nan Madol is a ruined city built on a coral reef in Federated States of Micronesia in the western Pacific ocean. It has been interpreted as the lost continent,Lemuria or Mu.Many authors including James Churchward and David Hatcher Childress believes that Nan Madol is connected to the lost continent Lemuria.

This city is constructed in a lagoon and it consists of a series of artificial islands(92 islands) connected by a network of canals.Human activity started in these islands in 1st or 2nd century AD and by 8th or 9th century this construction had begun.

According to Pohnpeian legends two sorcerer brothers had constructed this megalithic creation. They had levitated these huge stones with the help of a fire dragon One of the brothers died and the other one married a local woman and ruled the city.He is the 1st ruler of Saudeleur dynasty.

Meaning of Nan Madol is spaces between. The original name of this place was Soun Nan Leng (Reef of heaven). This city was used as the ceremonial and political seat of the Saudeleur dynasty. Its population was about 1000 and food and water was not available in Nan Madol.Water and food was collected from inland.

Today Nan Madol has become a major tourist attraction and in 1985 Nan Madol was declared as a National history landmark.

How to survive A/Ls in 3 months...

Today is the first of May and there are exactly three months until GCE A/L exams begin. I intend to help people who has realized this and started panicking and feeling lost, but not only A/L students but also any student with any upcoming exam can use these tips to ace your exam. I will first explain why most of us usually wait until the day before deadline to do stuff. It's explained by Parkinson's law which states that " Work expands so as to fill the time available for its completion". What it means is, if we are given a week to finish a task we will finish it within the week and if we are given an year to finish the same task we will spend the whole year doing it. Well that's how usually us, lazy humans work. Now that you know what happened there is no time to regret about how we procrastinated on unnecessary things etc. Now it's time to damage control. I will not gurantee you will get 3As by following these. (It's possible depending on
