Change...

"To improve is to change; to be perfect is to change often"

                                                                             -Winston Churchill-

Recently my mom is complaining a lot that I have changed.. So I thought for a while.. and I have to admit that she is correct. So behind this change there is a reason.. My university. I have changed in a better way as I feel..

I was a little girl who was fascinated by the beauty of the stars and the secrets hidden in the universe. I was into astronomy and history when I was a kid. Being an aero scientist was my dream and for that I worked hard. Each and every night I dreamed of my future as a scientist.. my house will be like this, my car will be like that.. I will buy clothes like this.... I finished reading each and every book in the library in our area when I was in grade 2. I couldn't see anything other than gathering knowledge and becoming the person in my dreams..

With time my ambition didn't change, so I was lost with a bunch of formulas and theories for years. My room was the only place I spent time besides school. And there was no connection with the outer world other than my room. I didn't talk with anyone besides the very few number of friends I had and with my family members. I was so shy to talk even in front of my own classmates. If you are familiar with my blog then you know what happened to me once.. LOL (If you don't know then click HERE)So umm, yes I was a book worm once. I did anything to fill up my brain with knowledge.

Even when I was doing A/Ls I went to science library daily. It was a pleasure to know something new everyday. And finally it became true. I am now training to be a scientist here, in the faculty of science at the University of Colombo. The place where I've always wanted to be.. I'm getting so close  my ultimate goal. Because of that now I'm free to explore the world which I couldn't do before. To meet new people, hang out with friends, and to learn much more things about society. After what happened to me in NAT (thanks to the gavel club of UOC) now, I have the courage not be afraid of talking to hundreds of people, on a stage.(And it kind of made me sort of famous in the university too.. LOL) As a blogger and a photographer I have a little reputation too. Most of the blog readers talk with me and give me comments daily. (Thanks for that guys.. you have no idea how happy I am when you do it)

As Sholom Aleichem says, life is a dream for the wise, a game for the fool, a comedy for the rich, a tragedy for the poor.  For me, my life is a drama with dreams , comedy and tragedy.

So what do you think about my change? It's good ha? :)

How to survive A/Ls in 3 months...

Today is the first of May and there are exactly three months until GCE A/L exams begin. I intend to help people who has realized this and started panicking and feeling lost, but not only A/L students but also any student with any upcoming exam can use these tips to ace your exam. I will first explain why most of us usually wait until the day before deadline to do stuff. It's explained by Parkinson's law which states that " Work expands so as to fill the time available for its completion". What it means is, if we are given a week to finish a task we will finish it within the week and if we are given an year to finish the same task we will spend the whole year doing it. Well that's how usually us, lazy humans work. Now that you know what happened there is no time to regret about how we procrastinated on unnecessary things etc. Now it's time to damage control. I will not gurantee you will get 3As by following these. (It's possible depending on
