My Quarantine Routine...

I'm back again with a new post. I hope you all are safe in your houses in "quarantine". I know for some people it's so hard but at least it is better than spreading a disease or lying on an ICU bed. So guys stay home and be productive. We all say we don't have time to this and that but suddenly now we have all the time in the world to do whatever we want but to go outside. Today I'm gonna give you a glimpse of my life, how I spend my time in quarantine. BtwI am an insanely organized person. and planning is my hobby. 🙊I enjoy planning everything. So I spend the night planning the activities I will do the following day.

So usually I get my wake up call at around 6.30am or 7.00am. and then download the previously picked (the night before) tv series/ movies on netflix and youtube (getting the maximum use of night time data here). And then I make my tea and breakfast and goes back to bed and enjoy the breakfast while watching Youtube. I have my few favourite channels.(Mark Rober, Clickfortaz ,Mr.beast and ofcourse ted-ed). And then I check my emails to see if there are any important ones and then move onto thinking about my lunch. And yeah I'm very serious about my meals so I spend a generous amount of time figuring out the perfect meal. I usually have a chitchat with friends in the morning and then I cook the menu of the day. I looooove cooking, I'm sure you already know that if you are familiar with this blog. 💖💖. I enjoy my lunch while watching a movie. I prefer historical movies over the modern ones with weird technologies and metallic figures.

Evening is for real work. I recently got my financial aid approved for some courses in Coursera offered by the University of Illionois- Urbana Champaign. So I spend a decent amount of time working on lectures and quizzes there. At around 4.00pm I make my coffee and go outside with a book. You know I love books. 📕 There's this patch of grass at my home where I enjoy reading books.

I have my dinner at around 7.00pm and then I check my blog stats and plan new posts. (Yup I have planned a bunch) Then maybe again a chitchat with friends before getting ready to sleep. Once I'm in bed I search for videos to download the next day and go to sleep... So basically I'm chillin in the quarantine, but the guys who have exams coming up.. you better work on those. (I have my next post coming about how exactly you are gonna do that as per a request from one of my readers)

So this post was just an ice breaker.  As so many of you guys suggested different topics, I'm digging information and keep writing these days.
Spoiler Alert : I also did a survey about A/Ls from people who completed A/Ls, how they did A/Ls and their advice to you guys.

If you also happen to have any suggestions and topics I should cover, you can always use the good old emails (ruviperera780@gmail.com) or DM me on instagram (ruviash). So till I comeback tomorrow with a new post, take care guys !!!

How to survive A/Ls in 3 months...

Today is the first of May and there are exactly three months until GCE A/L exams begin. I intend to help people who has realized this and started panicking and feeling lost, but not only A/L students but also any student with any upcoming exam can use these tips to ace your exam. I will first explain why most of us usually wait until the day before deadline to do stuff. It's explained by Parkinson's law which states that " Work expands so as to fill the time available for its completion". What it means is, if we are given a week to finish a task we will finish it within the week and if we are given an year to finish the same task we will spend the whole year doing it. Well that's how usually us, lazy humans work. Now that you know what happened there is no time to regret about how we procrastinated on unnecessary things etc. Now it's time to damage control. I will not gurantee you will get 3As by following these. (It's possible depending on ...
