As I mentioned before in one of my previous posts, I used to finish exams very quickly and in A/Ls chemistry paper I even did an extra essay question (both of physical chemistry questions + organic chemistry). Now how do I do that? It's through practice. There are certain skills that you need to have to be able to finish quickly and give correct answers quickly at the same time.  In an exam people waste most of their valuable time by thinking which questions to do. By the time you figure out which questions you are gonna answer, you have already spent more than 10 minutes. First thing is to avoid that. Especially in exams like A/Ls you know what are the essays that are going to be there. So pick your questions at home! not during the exam!
