Now you might wonder what kind of a topic is that ? Today morning I was in a statistics lecture and suddenly the lecturer mentioned this. "Father's love is like a bus conductor's change rupee (Sri Lankan rupee is the currency in my country) ". He said he saw it in a taxi. So he asked about our ideas on this topic. Some people answered the question (like fathers do not show their love) and I thought about it while travelling to home and here is what I think about it.
So before expressing my views I should explain who is a conductor coz most of the people reading this post are from countries where there are no conductors. I know most of you pay your fare to driver or pay electronically by waving a card in front of a machine. But in a 3rd world country like mine we have a person per bus to issue tickets, and most of the times they pretend like they don't have change and steal our rupee or two..
So why father's love is like a conductor's change? Will he never show it? or Is it something happening rarely? Actually it depends on the person. There might be very honest conductors who will somehow give me the change and there will be some people intentionally steal my rupee. So on that basis father's love is also like that. It is him who decides to show love or not. Most conductor's do not give change and most father's do not show their love. This is the link between these two.Usually women and children want the love to be seen by others.. That's a fact most fathers forget, so they keep their love with them hidden inside their heart. They love, but for an unknown reason they never show it. This can cause serious misunderstandings sometimes. So if I'm a father I will show my love in public. I will not be a conductor's rupee..
So what do you think about it?
That's good.. "not to be a conductor's rupee"
