Ruvi - Who is Ruvi?

Title of this blog is Ruvi's thoughts. So definitely you know that it's me. In my last few posts I introduced the people around me, people who are very close to me and today I'm going to tell you something about me.. If you are a daily reader of this blog then you may know something about me already.. In my last post I told you about how I spent my life before entering to a university and how the university changed me. My blog doesn't consist of an author profile.. So for the people who are curious to know who is this Ruvi I'm going to introduce myself today..

So umm.. Hi.. I'm Ruvi, the author of this blog, which you are reading now ;) .I'm a girl from a small country named Sri Lanka . Most of you may not know where it is or have not heard about it at all.It is a small island in the Indian ocean (Not don't misunderstand please.. we are not Indians.. Sri Lanka is a separate country which is completely different from India if you know what I mean). From grade one to five I learned in a school in my area and from the scholarship exam in grade 5 I was lucky to get selected to Visakha Vidyalaya in Colombo which is the business capital in the country.
( You may already know this if you read horrific memories of a war.. ). Currently I'm a student in the University of Colombo which makes me so proud about myself. :) Even though university life is tiresome it makes me so happy to be surrounded by a bunch of friends who loves and cares me.. Most of the people I've met in my life told me that I'm different and somewhat a dangerous person.. But it doesn't matter.. If all are alike then it's boring, isn't it? Personally I don't care what others think about me I behave in a way I like. (So far my behavior has not caused troubles and I've never hurt anyone intentionally.)

I'm a single person with many characters. As my best friend says some of my moods are like this.. Ruvi the photographer, Ruvi the blogger, Ruvi the chef, Ruvi the genius, Ruvi the singer, Ruvi the violinist, Ruvi the gamer, Ruvi the hiker.. and the list goes on (Aha I forgot a one..Ruvi the beauty.. lol). When I'm in the mood I do my best regardless of what it is. And I'm a very honest person who would die rather than telling a lie..I mentioned that also in a previous post. So I guess that's enough for today.. I'll be having my end semester exams in a month, that's the reason behind the delay in posting.. I'm very sorry about it.. I will post about how to get ready for an end semester exam in my post.. So see you soon ..!!! Have a nice day.. :)

How to survive A/Ls in 3 months...

Today is the first of May and there are exactly three months until GCE A/L exams begin. I intend to help people who has realized this and started panicking and feeling lost, but not only A/L students but also any student with any upcoming exam can use these tips to ace your exam. I will first explain why most of us usually wait until the day before deadline to do stuff. It's explained by Parkinson's law which states that " Work expands so as to fill the time available for its completion". What it means is, if we are given a week to finish a task we will finish it within the week and if we are given an year to finish the same task we will spend the whole year doing it. Well that's how usually us, lazy humans work. Now that you know what happened there is no time to regret about how we procrastinated on unnecessary things etc. Now it's time to damage control. I will not gurantee you will get 3As by following these. (It's possible depending on ...
