Edx the best MOOC

I was wondering what to do after A/Ls ,As we all know we have to wait a long time till we get selected to a university. Some people do English or IT courses. So what am i going to do?Then i found a good solution,MOOCs.

MOOCs or massive open online courses, are new to our country. Many people even don't know such a thing exists. What happens in MOOCs is world's prestigious universities offer online versions of their classes.Learning at Harvard university or MIT is like a dream, isn't it?Only few students are able to study at those universities. It's a dream for most of us,maybe it's coz we are not that rich,or we are not that smart. But what if they are offering you their materials and lectures for FREE?There were many websites offering online courses and my choice was Edx.It's online,so i can study whenever i want to and wherever i want.

MIT and Harvard university created Edx in 2012.More than 70 schools and nonprofit organizations and corporations offer courses at Edx.

There are hundreds of courses in edx,and most of those are for free i must say.As of October 2014 edx had more than 4 million students taking more than 500 courses online. Also the courses in edx is available in English,Mandarin,French,Hindi and Spanish. Also you will get a certificate if you complete the course successfully.

First you have to make an account for free (www.edx.org ),and then you can select any courses you like to learn. Some courses are self paced and some are not. Also there are discussion forums,so that you can get help from other students who are taking the same course online. And when you finish your course successfully a certificate will be issued.

There are two types of certificates, honor code and verified. When we do the course for free we will be given an honor code certificate. For verified certificates we will have to pay like 30 or 50 $s.So don't waste your time.Start learning now.Knowledge is power!!!

How to survive A/Ls in 3 months...

Today is the first of May and there are exactly three months until GCE A/L exams begin. I intend to help people who has realized this and started panicking and feeling lost, but not only A/L students but also any student with any upcoming exam can use these tips to ace your exam. I will first explain why most of us usually wait until the day before deadline to do stuff. It's explained by Parkinson's law which states that " Work expands so as to fill the time available for its completion". What it means is, if we are given a week to finish a task we will finish it within the week and if we are given an year to finish the same task we will spend the whole year doing it. Well that's how usually us, lazy humans work. Now that you know what happened there is no time to regret about how we procrastinated on unnecessary things etc. Now it's time to damage control. I will not gurantee you will get 3As by following these. (It's possible depending on
