Ravana,the great king of helanka-Part 2

This is the second part of the series of posts about the legendary  sri lankan emperor "Ravana" .According to sri lankan folk stories Sita was Ravanas own daughter. Can you believe that?Well, lets see what is that story first.

When Ravans queen,Mandodari was pregnant, one of the ministers got to know a future prediction, which says If the child born before a specific time(nakatha) he or she will bring prosperity to the kingdom and kind, otherwise he or she will bring bad luck to the king. They were panicked and annoyed because of this future prediction, and a baby boy born before that specific time.King was so happy and while he went to do some religious rituals, queen gave birth to a second child, that was a baby girl and that is after that specific time.So the ministers decided to hide this from king and throw the baby girl away.So they put her in a boat and throw it into sea. That is how she went to India.
And let me tell you something about the Agni pareeksha too.In southern Sri lanka something similar to happens annually. So this people who are doing it use a mantra name gini sisila, they walk through fire, they eat fire and they do so many other things, which i have seen from my own eyes.and it is said that somehow king got to know that sita is her daughter and knowing that sita will be checked in india,he taught her gini sisila(well everybody knows that ravana was so intelligent, and after all sita is his own daughter)

How to survive A/Ls in 3 months...

Today is the first of May and there are exactly three months until GCE A/L exams begin. I will first explain why most of us usually wait until the day before deadline to do stuff. What it means is, if we are given a week to finish a task we will finish it within the week and if we are given an year to finish the same task we will spend the whole year doing it. Well that's how usually us, lazy humans work. Now that you know what happened there is no time to regret about how we procrastinated on unnecessary things etc. Now it's time to damage control. I will not gurantee you will get 3As by following these. (It's possible depending on
