Behave yourselves!!!

Hmm,sorry for not posting anything for 2 days.I was unable to post anything as I went to Sigiriya,an ancient rock fortress in Sri Lanka which is considered as the 8th wonder of the world because of the technology used in Sigiriya  is still a mystery.(Will give you more information tomorrow) I'm going to tell you about a bunch of people I saw there.Few hundreds of Chinese tourists came there wearing pink T shirts with the word KLOVA. They walked along the way with us,chattering and having fun.We didn't care until we reach the lion paws.(Now don't think I hate Chinese people.I have few Chinese friends and they are very nice people.Every Chinese is not like ones I'm going to talk about)

For people who do not know about Sigiriya I will give the idea in brief. There are few nests of hornets near the lion paws of Sigiriya. It is said that the King Kasyapa's(the king who built this rock fortress) troops are reborn as hornets and protecting Sigiriya. There are special sign boards in every language saying "Be silent and do not not  disturb hornets" and "what to do in a hornet attack".Most people follow these sign boards and only whisper if they want to talk.

But these Chinese people oh my god, they were screaming on top of their lungs. There were a Russian group  and two Indian groups and the difference was clear. All of us were silent and these people were behaving like they were mad.We were terrified coz the hornets will not attack the Chinese only. All of us will be hospitalized if they attack us.I was going to tell them to keep their mouths shut, but it was useless. They couldn't understand English!!! . I have never seen anyone behaving like that, especially foreigners. I mean you should behave well at least when you are in a foreign country. You will represent your country and people are looking at you! Do not add black marks to your country. We asked people working in Sigiriya, "These people are too loud, aren't they? " Then they said "These people are worse than buffaloes". They didn't had a tourist guide either.
They were not looking at anything. The only thing they did was chattering and taking photographs of themselves.Ah one more thing! They started smoking at once.It is prohibited in Sri Lanka to smoke or drink in public places. They didn't seem to care about that either. You should follow rules and regulations once you go to another country.Respect their culture.Rules are there for your own protection. In a place like Sigiriya once you break a law not only YOU,but also all the other tourists will have to suffer.

So If you don't know English or any other language used in the country you are going to visit (I know they are not reading this post either coz they don't know English) then do some reading before you go.

UPDATE

I wrote a post about Sigiriya as I promised.People who are interested in knowing more about this ancient rock fortress with magnificent technology can click HERE to read it..

How to survive A/Ls in 3 months...

Today is the first of May and there are exactly three months until GCE A/L exams begin. I intend to help people who has realized this and started panicking and feeling lost, but not only A/L students but also any student with any upcoming exam can use these tips to ace your exam. I will first explain why most of us usually wait until the day before deadline to do stuff. It's explained by Parkinson's law which states that " Work expands so as to fill the time available for its completion". What it means is, if we are given a week to finish a task we will finish it within the week and if we are given an year to finish the same task we will spend the whole year doing it. Well that's how usually us, lazy humans work. Now that you know what happened there is no time to regret about how we procrastinated on unnecessary things etc. Now it's time to damage control. I will not gurantee you will get 3As by following these. (It's possible depending on
