Close call..!!

A bullet you are glad you dodged? Did you ever had a one like that? Something awful almost happened, but didn't? Well it happened to me...Again the same teacher and the same class. (Actually this was the best year in my life so far.Really enjoyed it.For people who are not familiar with my class click HERE.)

It was a Friday and teacher asked us to bring 15 misspelled words from newspapers. That's a hard thing to do,isn't it? There are so many proof readers working for a newspaper to minimize mistakes and we were to find 15 WORDS. So there were 6 in my group including me and I was the one to come early in Monday morning. When I went to my class early in the morning OMG there were tons of newspapers in class. For a second I thought " What are they going to to with these".Then I got it, "MY TEACHER IS GOING TO KILL ME".Our group had a reputation in my class as a good one (I'm not bragging here) and I was not ready to loose it.I was thinking what to do.Suddenly I knew what to do.I searched lockers for wrappers. Some students use old newspapers to wrap things. But I'll have to find at least 20 or more newspapers to find 15 words.

Fortunately I found a one.A small page from a newspaper. There was only an advertisement in that page, and can you believe it?I found 10 words from that.Almost every word in that advertisement were  misspelled.I couldn't believe my luck!!! So 5 more to go.But there were no more newspapers in the class. And then my friend came. Her mom always wrap her breakfast in a newspaper. So we were lucky to find 3 more words from it.Then another one came. She said she tried hard to find words in the weekend but she could only 2.Hurray!!! We did it...

But we couldn't show the teacher an advertisement and 2 pages. There are 6 in the group and 3 will get punished( she don't punish actually, but it's not good for our reputation coz teacher will think we are careless)
So I decided that we'll cut the words. So we can divide 15 between six of us.So we cut the words and teacher came. All the other students started reading newspapers and find words. We had nothing to do.15 words on my desk and we were staring at each other. Our teacher noticed us and came. She looked at our words and asked one of my friends "How many of these words are yours? " That friend is so honest and she said "None teacher.I forgot it." We looked at her like "oh my god why did you do that, there are plenty of words here"!!! So our teacher got angry and said something about being careless. And she looked at the class. All people are busy finding words and here we are with 20 words already. She went to her place and started screaming at others. She said "Are you people going to waste my period looking for words? Could't you do that at home? You spent 2 days at home but you are searching for words NOW? Look at these kids (she pointed us). They have done it at home. You should learn from them!!! Hahahaha. We felt like we were going to blast!!! we badly wanted to laugh!!! Learn from us?Of course they can learn from us how to manage in such a situation :)  Hahahaha...

How to survive A/Ls in 3 months...

Today is the first of May and there are exactly three months until GCE A/L exams begin. I intend to help people who has realized this and started panicking and feeling lost, but not only A/L students but also any student with any upcoming exam can use these tips to ace your exam. I will first explain why most of us usually wait until the day before deadline to do stuff. It's explained by Parkinson's law which states that " Work expands so as to fill the time available for its completion". What it means is, if we are given a week to finish a task we will finish it within the week and if we are given an year to finish the same task we will spend the whole year doing it. Well that's how usually us, lazy humans work. Now that you know what happened there is no time to regret about how we procrastinated on unnecessary things etc. Now it's time to damage control. I will not gurantee you will get 3As by following these. (It's possible depending on
