Carina nebula |
I spent half of my childhood thinking about the space.Every night observing the sky and reading books, magazines that are related to astroscience. Then one day I learnt about
heavenly Nebulas from a magazine. There were so many beautiful pictures of nebulas and I almost couldn't believe such a thing exists. They were more like someone's
drawings.I didn't have a way to find more information about nebulas at that time (I was only about 7 years back then),and gradually I forgot it until yesterday. So I'm going to tell you in brief what I learned about nebulas.

Eagle nebula |
Nebula is a Latin word for cloud. It's an interstellar cloud of dust, hydrogen, helium and other ionized gasses.
They are about hundreds of light metres in diameter and denser than the space around them. But they are far less dense than any vacuum on earth. For an example,a nebula cloud as big as our earth would have a total mass of few kilograms .

Orion nebula |
Many nebulas form from the
gravitational collapse of gas in the interstellar medium. When the material collapses under its own weight massive stars form in the centre and their UV radiation ionizes surrounding gases. So these gases makes it visible at optical wavelengths. And some other nebulas form as results of
supernova explosions and
planetary nebulas. I'm not going to make you a headache using scientific words and all :).I just wanted to say how beautiful these are and I'm sure you'll be fascinated to see these too. They are so beautiful, aren't they?

There might be thousands of secrets buried in space which we still have not discovered.Even thinking about that makes me crazy....
What do you think?
