The most special thing about this park is the pillar like formations which we will be able to see throughout the park. And they are a result of physical erosion, not chemical. There are about 3000 mountain peaks in Zhangjiajie.

There are about 500 tree species including dawn redwood, believed extinct till it was re-identified in 1948.And also there are dove trees which are considered as living fossils as it survived during the glacier of the fourth period, which means about 2.5 million years ago.

Like every other place in China,Zingjiajie also has a legend behind it.It is said that Zhang Liang,a strategist lived in Zingjiajie after leaving the imperial court. And he lived there in fear that the emperor will kill him in suspicion that he might rebel against him.So he selected this mountain range as his hiding place and eventually he became a hermit and he was also buried here after dying. It is believed that his descendants also lived here and that is how it became Zingjiajie.Zhang is from his surname and jia means family, jie means homeland or border.

Well that's how usually us, lazy humans work. Now that you know what happened there is no time to regret about how we procrastinated on unnecessary things etc. Now it's time to damage control. I will not gurantee you will get 3As by following these. (It's possible depending on
