As I promised in last week,today I'm going to tell you about Sigiriya ,the 8th wonder of the world..Actually I will have to publish a book to tell you everything about Sigiriya.But I'll do my best..I spent past few days reading books about Sigiriya,and checked information I gathered from a museum because I want to give you accurate information.Sigiriya is a rock fortress situated in Sri Lanka. So now why this is considered as the 8th wonder of the world? As I said in my previous post(click HERE to read it) it is because the technology used in Sigiriya is still a question mark  for many scientists around the world.The magnificent hydraulic systems and the technology used to make a huge fortress on a a huge rock.I have to tell something about this rock first.This is called Sigiriya (lion rock) because of a huge creation of a lion on the rock(today we can only see his paws) .Sigiri rock has a history of 25-18 millions of years .So it belongs to pre-Cambrian era according to t

First of all I'm sorry for not posting about Sigiriya today.I will definitely post it within this week.Today I'm going to tell you about a lost continent .If you read Erich Von Danikens books or watched Ancient Aliens then you may be familiar with this place.Nan Madol is a ruined city built on a coral reef in Federated States of Micronesia in the western Pacific ocean.It has been interpreted as the lost continent,Lemuria or Mu .Many authors including James Churchward and David Hatcher Childress believes that Nan Madol is connected to the lost continent Lemuria.

Hmm,sorry for not posting anything for 2 days.I was unable to post anything as I went to Sigiriya,an ancient rock fortress in Sri Lanka which is considered as the 8th wonder of the world because of the technology used in Sigiriya   is still a mystery .(Will give you more information tomorrow) I'm going to tell you about a bunch of people I saw there.Few hundreds of Chinese tourists came there wearing pink T shirts with the word KLOVA . They walked along the way with us,chattering and having fun.We didn't care until we reach the lion paws.(Now don't think I hate Chinese people.I have few Chinese friends and they are very nice people.Every Chinese is not like ones I'm going to talk about)

These dramas may not be your best ones.I'm posting here my best ones.I have watched only about 40 K dramas so far and if you had a chance to read my earlier post about common things in Korean dramas(  how many of following you have noticed?  ) the top ten in my list usually have less things in that list.Especially the 1st one in that list.That's why I enjoyed following dramas and that's why boys over flowers and princess hours are not in my top ten list.There are many other dramas which are also good such as coffee prince,flower boy next door.I personally don't like playfull kiss.But I'm sure most of you guys enjoyed it.I too enjoyed,but didn't fell in love with it.Enough talking now,here is my TOP TEN...(They are not in an order,I love each equally)

A new Indian tele-drama is telecasting on a local TV channel and  I watched two episodes.I was shocked to see how people in India really live . (I'm not talking about how their movies try to show us they live; BMW and Benz cars,houses like palaces,hundreds of servants)I've heard that most of the people in India are poor and uneducated ,but never thought it's this much pathetic .I've heard about bonded labour in India before but never took it seriously.

I found this yummy cookies from a nearby store and I fell in love with it.It just melted in my mouth.Origin of this tasty biscuit is India and now I'm going to share this recipe with you.So that you too can enjoy it.Believe it or not,you'll need only four ingredients to make this delicious cookies.

Today when I was watching news on TV I saw that food waste in UK has became a major issue and it gave me a topic to talk about..!! Did you know that one third of all the food produced globally end up as food waste ?That means 1.3 billion tons of food worth nearly 1 trillion US dollars end up in waste bins.The energy goes to produce, harvest, transport produces more than 3.3 billions tons of  carbon dioxide.While millions of people die from starvation we waste 1.3 billion tons of food.Can you even believe that?

Carina nebula I spent half of my childhood thinking about the space.Every night observing the sky and reading books,magazines that are related to astroscience. Then one day I learnt about heavenly Nebula s from a magazine.There were so many beautiful pictures of nebulas and I almost couldn't believe such a thing exists.They were more like someone's drawings .I didn't have a way to find more information about nebulas at that time (I was only about 7 years back then),and gradually I forgot it until yesterday.So I'm going to tell you in brief what I learned about nebulas.

I usually do not follow blog prompts,you know.But when I was going through a book with blog prompts I found this interesting topic.If you could un-invent something what would it be? Hmm.A good question and it gave me something to think about.I thought for a while,and decided to see what others answers will be.So I used Omegle spy mode and I got so many answers .Nuclear bomb s, Smartphone s, Xbox , DVD re winder , television , weapons , war and so many others.Most peoples answers were related to weapons and wars.Two people said Pasta and selfie stick :) .One hates pasta and another thinks that selfie sticks apparatus for teens to get more annoying. I was thinking for two days(that's why I didn't post anything for last two days,sorry!),thought a lot about the above answers and what will my answer be.So before telling you my answer,I think I should say something about above answers.This is what I think and if you have another idea you can comment.

                              This is the third post of the Nami island series.I'm really sorry for making you wait.I was really busy because of university admissions. :) I mentioned before that Nami island is all about recycling.Now I will tell you how it happened.        "From weeds to flowers,from noise to rhythm,            from wild flowers to paper,from scenery to elegance" Nami island is not a real island at all.After the completion of Cheongpyeong Dam in 1944 it became an island.In 1965,late chairman Mr.Minn Byeong Do bought this island and he planted Korean pines,cherry trees,white birch and metasequoias on this island.It was used as an amusement park before 2001 and people had came and gone leaving tons of garbage;empty soju bottles,blocks of wood,parts of old buildings,discarded ping pong tables,shards of glass were everywhere.

The date was 03rd march 2013,and WE were going to visit the prestigious engineering faculty of the university of Peradeniya,which is considered as the most beautiful university in Sri lanka. Honestly we all were feeling nervous,and as soon as we get there we were having awkward looks from the university students.All the girls were wearing skirts and we thought it's the dress code for girls in engineering faculty.Soon we were taken into a conference hall and the dean of the engineering faculty gave a brief introduction about the university.
